Koi Friends

The Koi fish are symbols of love and friendship in Japan and other Asian cultures. Koi are becoming a universal symbol of peace all over the world. Koi fish can be found in the many koi ponds found throughout the Hawaiian Islands. I enjoy painting these fish because of what it symbolizes and because of its beauty and peacefulness.
