I'iwi Birds Playing in the O'hia Lehua Tree

$15.00

The I'iwi birds are a species of the Hawaiian honeycreepers found throughout the Hawaiian Islands. The I'iwi is a highly recognizable symbol of Hawaii. They can be spotted while playing and feeding in the O'hia Lehua Tree which is an endemic Hawaiian tree. This tree is resilient enough to withstand all of Pele's creations and it signifies "rebirth" and the "strength of love".
For these reasons, I wanted to capture the uniqueness and beauty of both the I'iwi bird and the Ohia Lehua Tree.
