Heavenly Heliconia

The heliconia plant has many varieties, but its distinctive bracts and stunning colors make them easy to identify. I was visiting the Wahiawa Botanical Garden in central Oahu when I spotted this beautiful heliconia bloom. It had a regal stance with unique colors and it stood out among the others. I immediately photographed this plant so that I could capture its beauty later on canvas.
