Hiding in the Fern Grotto

I was inspired to paint this scene after spotting several baby frogs hiding in my fern grotto. The Hawaiian word for fern is laua'e, which means "beloved, sweet." This fern is endearing to the local Hawaiians because of the sweetness of the leaves when crushed.
